Amazon Listing
QA Checklist
Seventeen checks for clearer titles, safer claims, cleaner localization, and a handoff another person can actually approve.
Review the listing in order. Stop when a fact cannot be verified, record the question, and keep it out of publish-ready copy until someone accountable confirms it.
Product facts
Freeze the facts before improving the language. A fluent sentence is still wrong if the source data is wrong.
Every material, dimension, capacity, compatibility statement, and pack quantity is supported by a source you control.
Variant-specific facts are not copied across colours, sizes, bundles, or model years.
Claims that still need confirmation are visibly flagged instead of being written as facts.
Title
A title should identify the product quickly and preserve the information needed for a buying decision.
The core product type is clear in the first readable phrase.
Brand, model, size, quantity, and one meaningful differentiator appear only when relevant.
Repeated synonyms and keyword chains have been removed.
Bullets
Each bullet should answer one buyer question, not repeat the same feature in five different ways.
Every bullet has one job: use case, material, fit, operation, care, or what is included.
Features are connected to specific benefits without vague superlatives.
The first words help a scanning buyer understand the point without reading the full paragraph.
Localization
Translation quality is more than grammar. Units, product terms, spelling, and buying conventions must fit the market.
No untranslated words, literal phrases, broken plurals, or machine-translation residue remain.
Spelling, units, punctuation, and terminology are consistent for the target marketplace.
The same component has the same name in the title, bullets, images, manual, and packaging.
Claims and compliance
Remove language that creates unnecessary proof or policy risk before the listing reaches final review.
Absolute claims such as best, safest, guaranteed, non-toxic, or 100% are supported or removed.
Certifications, test standards, approvals, and comparison claims match current documentation.
The copy does not promise ranking, sales, medical outcomes, or platform approval.
Final handoff
A finished listing should be easy for another person to verify, approve, and publish.
The final file separates publish-ready copy from fact questions and reviewer notes.
Title, bullets, description, backend terms, and variant notes use one agreed structure.
Better copy cannot repair missing evidence.
If a material grade, measurement, compatibility claim, test result, or certification cannot be verified, move it into a fact-question list. Do not hide uncertainty behind polished language.
